Location: The village is part of Dobrich municipality, Dobrich region, north-eastern Bulgaria. It is located about 10 km away from the town of Dobrich, about 30 km away from Albena resort and about 45 km away from Varna city. The population numbers about 1000 people. In the village there are a mayoralty, a post office, a secondary school, a kindergarten, a community center with a library, grocery shops, restaurants and cafes, a doctor's and a dentists' offices, a small park, children's playground.
